Garage Sale Rules for the VIP Garage Sale on April 25, 2009
Join us at our Garage Sale on April 25th 9am-5:30pmReady to clear out your stash? Stop by to register, pay your $5 admin fee, grab a rules sheet, and get your VIP blank tags for the sale.
You will be assigned an ID number for this sale to protect your privacy. Please use this number on EVERY tag on every item. The signed registration/rules sheet must be signed and returned to VIP for participation.
You may sell paper crafting supplies (such as scrapbooking and stamping and cutting tools, punches, acrylic stamps and inks, papers, cardstock, pattern papers, paper packs, metal embellishments, page embellishments, accents, ribbon, scrapbooking idea books, flowers, etc). No household items are allowed.
You set your own pricing. All items must be marked in increments of $1.00. You decide what you think your item will sell for and mark your tags accordingly. Please PRINT clearly. Products must be in saleable condition. No rips, dings, or broken items please.
Items must be in plastic bags and sealed or taped shut in some way. This is so that items do not get mixed up or separated. They will get jostled a bit at the sale and we want each item protected as much as possible.
Price everything with the label tags provided by VIP only. No exceptions. These VIP sale tags are given out when you register. Please make as many copies as you need. Cut tags apart and attach one tag to each item.
12x12 or 8.5x11 loose paper should be grouped in lots of 10 sheets or 20 sheets in a closed plastic bag. Mark VIP Tag accordingly by circling the appropriate number on the tag. Papers that have matching embellishments in the same lot can be packaged as a unit in plastic bag and do NOT need to be 10 or 20 sheets.
Merchandise may be dropped off at VIP Scrapbook store Wednesday 10am-9pm, Thursday 10am-9pm, or Friday 10am-9pm. NO Saturday drop offs.
You will receive a VIP store credit certificate for the entire amount of the tabulated items sold according to the tags we collect at the garage sale check out register on the day of the sale. (Note: You will not receive cash for your garage sale items.)
Pickup your VIP store credit certificate on--or after--Tuesday, April 28, 2009. You may redeem your garage sale credit at VIP on any item in the store or on specially ordered items that are ordered by June 30th, 2009. Your store credit must be used by June 30th, 2009. No exceptions, please.
VIP Scrapbook store is not responsible for loss of your items due to disaster or theft. Every precaution will be made to monitor the area during the sale. For your own use, it is suggested that you keep a master list of all the items you bring in to the sale.
Items not sold at the sale on April 25th should be picked up by you (or someone you ask to do so) from the store no later than Tuesday night April 28th at 9pm. If you have to be out of town, please call the store and let us know exactly who will be picking up your garage sale leftover items. Items still left at the store after April 29th will be donated to a charity of our choice.
Stop by and get your registration completed and your VIP tags anytime you like before April 24th.
